But managing to get some work out between tai chi, swimming, mountain walks and reading. This is the jacket I am working on for a wonderful story I am illustrating about Somalian refugees.

Escape

Hi Ms. Stock, I wanted to stop by and say that I'm the hugest, biggest fan of your children's book art work ever! I studied your books/watercolors for quite a while and learned a great deal. Your ability to capture the emotion and warmth of people is pure magic.
I was doubly excited to see you have my older brother's link up! Small world :0)
Anyways, I'm a children's illustrator as well, but still with a lot of learning and growing to do. So, thanks so much for the inspiration.
